Rume furniture is all made by Rume Associates in our workshops in Sussex in England. None of our pieces are held in stock but made from scratch to the highest possible standard to the individual specification of our clients.

Our sofas and chairs are an exceptional blend of tradition and innovation with frames from sustainable kiln dried beech with glued, screwed and dowelled joints, legs in a timber and finish of your choice and with upholstery employing the finest of modern materials and techniques. 

Our cabinets and tables are made slowly in our cabinet shop from select timbers and moisture resistant fibreboard. The cabinets are all hand sprayed inside and out and our solid wood tables are lacquered, waxed or oiled. 

Rume design and make beautiful timeless furniture that is built to last and as such represents good value for money and respect for the environment.
