How safe is my password?

We understand that remembering an ever growing number of passwords is difficult but it is essential that you set effective, unique and secure passwords on all websites where your personal information is stored in order to protect it and prevent it being used in fraudulent activity.
If at all possible avoid using the same password for more than one online account. If you don’t do this then should a criminal gain access to one of your accounts they may then have access to all of them. The more passwords you have the safer you are.

When setting a password go for a wide mix of numbers or characters, use something personal to you that is not readily obvious but easy to remember. It may help to keep a cheat list about your person or to use a password manager or keeper app, these will generate unique passwords for you, keep them secure and remember which password goes with which account.

We will do everything we can to keep your personal information safe but we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. There are security risks inherent with any online transactions or information disclosure and Rume cannot be held responsible for a security breach unless it is due to a failure on our part or our negligence.
