Moooi Heracleum ll Small

The Heracleum II is a modern marvel, a light that only a few years ago would not have been possible. Designed by Bertjan Pot the Heracleum II employs new LED technologies that were innovated by Marcel Wanders the creative director of Moooi. Using special surface coatings, and because of their low energy demand, the LEDs are actually powered through the light’s frame so no wiring is necessary. The white polycarbonate Heracleum leaves which contain the LEDs and taking their inspiration from the plant of the same name, are not fixed but can be freely rotated around the stem thus allowing for individual customisation. Available in two sizes, small with 45 leaves and large with 63 and in a warm copper or cool nickel finish the light provides a soft, dimmable light that seems to sparkle as you move around it. It is critical however that the correct dimmer unit is used and it is best to contact us to be sure of compatibility. Suspended on a slim steel cable from a canopy containing the transformer the Heracleum II is a beautiful hanging centrepiece for any room and its sculptural form is lovely to behold whether the light is illuminated or not.
