Rodolfo Dordoni was born in 1954 in Milan, Italy where he graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. As an architect and designer Dordoni was the co founder of Dordoni Architetti, a design studio founded in Milan with Luca Zaniboni and Alessandro Acerbi. The company specialises in the field of architectural planning and interior design in the residential, commercial and exhibition areas and also in designing private houses and villas, industrial and commercial spaces and overseeing the realisation of showrooms, exhibition stands, restaurants and hotels. Dordoni has over the years been responsible for art direction within many great companies which include Artemide, Cappellini, FontanaArte, Foscarini, and Minotti. He has also designed products for Artemide, Cassina, Ceramica Flaminia, Ceramiche Mutina, Dada, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Flos, Jab, Kettal, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Olivari, Roda, Salvatori and Serralunga amongst others.
