Chalk Fern Topaz

This beautiful fern topaz cushion is made from soft merino lambswool and is part of a range of cushions and throws by textile designer Kerry Stokes. Finding inspiration in the shape of leaves, plaids and architectural forms her points of references are myriad. At her textile studio in Brighton Kerry first weaves all the fabrics by hand to try out new ideas, constructions and colour combinations before the final patterns are sent to Wales for production. Kerry has great experience in this process having worked freelance for many years, designing weaves, blankets and upholstery fabrics for the wonderful Welsh mill Melin Tregwynt some of whose lovely products we also stock.
